Welcome to Catherwood School of Motoring. By using our website and services, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.

Please read these carefully before booking lessons or using this website.

1. Driving Instructor

1.1 All lessons are conducted by a fully qualified and DVSA-approved driving instructor.
1.2 Your instructor will follow the DVSA Code of Conduct and provide tuition in a safe, professional, and supportive environment.

2. Lesson Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled lesson time.

2.2 Failure to provide sufficient notice (less than 48 hours) will result in the full lesson fee being charged.

2.3 Pre-booked lessons can be rescheduled by logging into the Member Area > My Bookings > Manage. Rescheduling is only possible up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Changes cannot be made after this period.

2.4 Catherwood School of Motoring reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances, such as instructor illness, severe weather conditions, or vehicle unavailability. In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the student.

2.5 Students are responsible for ensuring their availability for the scheduled lesson time. No-shows or missed lessons without prior notice will be treated as a late cancellation and the full fee will be charged.

2.6 Repeated cancellations or rescheduling by the student without valid reasons may result in future bookings being refused or the agreement being terminated.

2.7 In the event of severe weather conditions, such as ice or heavy snow, the instructor may cancel the lesson for safety reasons. Every effort will be made to provide advance notice, and the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

2.8 It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they arrive at the agreed pick-up point on time. If the student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time, and the full fee will be charged.

2.9 For the Quick Pass Academy course students must book and pay at least 60 days in advance of starting the course and give 30 days' notice for cancellations.
